Basketball Recap: Biggs Piles Up the Points Against Maxwell

Biggs won the last time they faced Maxwell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Biggs Wolverines really took it to the Maxwell Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-13 win. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Biggs was led to victory by Anna Carothers and Allie Little. Carothers posted 20 points in addition to seven steals and five assists, while Little went 8-for-9 on her way to 16 points and five boards. Carothers is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alice Rayburn, who earned four points along with five assists and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Biggs was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Biggs has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Maxwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-20.

Biggs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-18 victory against Williams on the 14th. As for Maxwell, they have also already played their next match, a 62-25 defeat against Portola on the 13th.
