The Miramonte Matadors won the last time they faced the Campolindo Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Miramonte walked away with a 52-39 win over Campolindo.
Karena Eberts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Miramonte's points. Another player making a difference was Robin Parmelee, who scored 11 points.
Miramonte pushed their record up to 14-9 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Campolindo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miramonte will face off against Berean Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Berean Christian is ranked 237th, while Miramonte is ranked 226th). As for Campolindo, they will head out on the road to square off against Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Las Lomas is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
