Riverside has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-1 to the East Sac County Raiders on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Riverside of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-3. As for East Sac County, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Riverside will head out to take on Missouri Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for East Sac County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against West Central Valley on the 15th.
