The Winters Warriors waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 44-34 victory over Durham. For Winters, this counts as revenge for the 42-39 loss Durham walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Jordan Tucker, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Winters' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Durham, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Winters will head out on the road to take on East Nicolaus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Nicolaus will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Durham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Colusa at 7:00 p.m. Colusa is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
