Jace Bunne and Mitch Scaglione provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lanesboro. The longest such play in Southeast (9 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 70 yards.
Spring Grove extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Houston, 41-12. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Lions.
LeRoy-Ostrander's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bunne has thrown for 1390 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Nate Bunne has 38 catches for 580 yards. Lucas Roe leads the league in rushing with 685 yards.
The marquee game in Southeast (9 Man) this week will be the clash between Grand Meadow and Spring Grove. The Superlarks enters the contest ranked sixth in the state, while Zach Hauser's team ranks fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Grand Meadow takes on the Lions. Gary Sloan's team has allowed 121 points this season, while Spring Grove has given up 163. The Superlarks allowed 8 points last week as they bested Glenville-Emmons.
The Hurricanes made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 491 from 547. The advance stemmed from a 67-28 victory over Mabel-Canton last week.
