Evergreen Valley lost to Los Altos back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Evergreen Valley Cougars walked away with a 54-43 win over the Los Altos Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Evergreen Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Los Altos, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evergreen Valley will host Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Los Altos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilcox at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. Wilcox knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Los Altos likes a good challenge.
