The Liberty Hurricanes waltzed into their game  Friday with four straight wins  but they left with five. They came out on top against Pocono Mountain West by a score of  55-43. That's another feather in the cap for Liberty, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Liberty was led to victory by  Jordan Thompson and  Emma Pukszyn.  Thompson  scored 12 points, while  Pukszyn  scored 13 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her.  Abby Thompson was another key contributor,  scoring four points.
 Liberty pushed their record up to 5-1 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Pocono Mountain West, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Liberty won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Hazleton Area at 1:00  p.m.  on December 23rd. Pocono Mountain West will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northampton at 7:00  p.m.  on January 4, 2024.
