Bravo and Eagle Rock are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Knights will take on the Eagles at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Eagle Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Bravo managed to slip by Franklin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Panthers on Thursday, falling 8-1.
Bravo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emiliano Centeno, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Eagle Rock beat Lincoln 8-4 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Eagle Rock also got a great performance from Odin Tuntland as he struck out 15 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Those 15 strikeouts gave Tuntland a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Eagle Rock: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Grayson Sugi, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Eagle Rock's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Bravo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bravo has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eagle Rock struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bravo skirted past Eagle Rock 4-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
