Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Sophia Abella stepped things up a notch to give Victory Christian Academy the 'W'. Abella did her part (and then some), scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals in the 54-44 win.
Abella and Victory Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Otay Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Abella hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 15.9 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Otay Ranch's dominant defense.
