Los Altos won against Palo Alto last Thursday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Los Altos narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Palo Alto 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Los Altos was the better team in the second half.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Anya Lin and
Katelyn Sacerdoti, who scored both of Los Altos' goals. The pair have combined for a total of two so far this season.
Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 7-5-2. As for Palo Alto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2-2.
Los Altos will be playing in front of their home fans against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palo Alto, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Clara at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Clara has not scored a goal the last five times they've played, a trend they'll try and put an end to.
