Lincoln Southwest won the last time they faced Norfolk and things went their way on Thursday too. The Silver Hawks came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Silver Hawks.

Bryn Pribnow looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.

At the plate, Taylor Siefken was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brenly Noerrlinger, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Lincoln Southwest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norfolk only posted a batting average of .269.

Lincoln Southwest's record now sits at 2-0. As for Norfolk, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln Southwest will take on rival Millard West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Norfolk is set to challenge their familiar foe Grand Island on Saturday.
