The Forest Lake Christian Falcons's 18-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Lincoln 67-15 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Forest Lake Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 805th, while Lincoln is ranked 197th).
Kenzi Harrington and Julia Nguyen certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Harrington scored 9 points, while Nguyen scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds. Nguyen scored a full 40% of Forest Lake Christian's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
This is the second loss in a row for Forest Lake Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Forest Lake Christian will head out on the road to face off against Sacramento Adventist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln is on the road again on Saturday and play against Bear River at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Bear River will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
