In other batting news, Mia Boschen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sharday Thomas, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Kennedy Byrne made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Hazelwood West's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. Joseph's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
