Mission Bay's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Audie Caban, who scored five points along with ten rebounds. Caban is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.
The victory makes it two in a row for Bayfront Charter and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1. As for Mission Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Bayfront Charter is on the road again on Monday and play against Scripps Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on December 18th. Scripps Ranch presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bayfront Charter in California (Scripps Ranch is ranked 164th, while Bayfront Charter is ranked 647th). Mission Bay will be home for the holidays to greet Preuss UCSD at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
