Susquehannock has been on the road for four straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the West York Area Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Susquehannock focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Susquehannock was able to grind out a solid win over Kennard-Dale, taking the game 36-24.
Susquehannock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Georgie Snyder, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Lindsey Sweitzer, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, West York Area's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell to York Suburban 46-40. West York Area has not had much luck with York Suburban recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The win got Susquehannock back to even at 2-2. As for West York Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Susquehannock skirted past West York Area 37-34 in their previous meeting back in March. Does Susquehannock have another victory up their sleeve, or will West York Area turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
