Palmdale is 0-10 against Quartz Hill since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Palmdale Falcons will look to defend their home court against the Quartz Hill Royals at 5:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Palmdale had to suffer through a rough 77-14 loss at the hands of Highland. Palmdale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Quartz Hill, as they earned their first road win of the season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Littlerock 56-21 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-6.
Quartz Hill found their leader in underclassman Ashantee Palmer, who scored 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Palmer has scored at least 25% of Quartz Hill's points. Another player making a difference was Mandy Frozina, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals.
Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Quartz Hill, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Palmdale took a serious blow against Quartz Hill in their previous matchup back in January, falling 55-11. Can Palmdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
