Paramount's and St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy's game on Monday was close at halftime, but Paramount turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Paramount Pirates never let the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Paramount now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Paramount will finish 2024 at home by hosting Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saint Joseph on January 7, 2025.
