Softball Recap: Millard North Has No Trouble Against Raymore-Peculiar

Millard North never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers. Considering the Mustangs have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Jayda Juarez, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Raymore-Peculiar off the board. Juarez has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abby Beard, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Jarose, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Millard North lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in three consecutive games.

Millard North's win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Millard North will take on Edmond Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they will face off against Chatfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
