The Schurr Spartans lost against the La Salle Lancers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Schurr was dealt a 54-24 loss at the hands of La Salle. Schurr was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.
La Salle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Chen out in front who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Erica Fan, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Schurr's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for La Salle, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing JSerra Catholic the next time they take the court. Schurr will head out to face JSerra Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while La Salle will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
