The East Rutherford Cavaliers posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They blew past Polk County 79-52 at home. With East Rutherford ahead 47-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
East Rutherford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jj Arrowood, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Adkins, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
East Rutherford's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Polk County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, East Rutherford and Polk County will both be playing Brevard the next time they take the court. Polk County will head out to face Brevard at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while East Rutherford will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
