After a string of nine wins dating back to last season, String Theory's's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Parkway West by a score of 37-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points String Theory has scored all season.
It was another big night for Nymira Bryant, who scored 22 points for Parkway West. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Bryant has scored at least 25% of Parkway West's points. Another player making a difference was Kemba Brown, who scored nine points.
String Theory's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. As for Parkway West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.
String Theory will play host again and welcome South Philadelphia, where tip off is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (South Philadelphia: 16.8, String Theory: 25.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Parkway West's road trip will continue as they head out to face Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on January 10th.
