The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans won the last time they faced the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Upper Dauphin Area came out on top against Annville-Cleona by a score of 49-36.
Leading Upper Dauphin Area to victory were Mazie Bingaman and Gracie Griffiths. Bingaman scored 18 points, while Griffiths dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Griffiths has scored at least 25% of Upper Dauphin Area's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Miller, who scored 8 points.
Upper Dauphin Area now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Annville-Cleona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Upper Dauphin Area will head out on the road to face off against Steelton-Highspire at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Annville-Cleona, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York County Tech at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
