It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Reading Red KNights can now relate to. They took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Reading can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Wyomissing is ranked 68th).
It was another big night for Amaya Stewart, who scored 24 points for Wyomissing. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie Mccaffrey, who scored eight points.
Reading are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10. As for Wyomissing, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.
Reading does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wyomissing, they will take on Governor Mifflin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wyomissing is coming into the match with 17 straight wins on the road, so Governor Mifflin is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
