The Neumann-Goretti Saints are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the South Shore Vikings. Neumann-Goretti sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over South Shore. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Neumann-Goretti's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amya Scott, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reginna Baker, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Neumann-Goretti will head out on the road to square off against Lansdale Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
