The Escondido Charter White Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Orange Glen 61-32 at home. The victory was nothing new for Escondido Charter as they're now sitting on three straight.
Escondido Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noelle Champagne, who scored 16 points along with six steals. Champagne is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Harper Mowrey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Escondido Charter pushed their record up to 4-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.33 points. As for Orange Glen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Escondido Charter will head out on the road to face off against Rancho Buena Vista at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Orange Glen, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Maranatha Christian at 5:30 p.m.
