Baseball Recap: Paradise Takes a Loss

Paradise lost against Durham back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bobcats fell 8-4 to the Trojans. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Michael Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Paradise's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Jayden Bunch was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Paradise's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Durham, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paradise will face off against rival Colusa at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Durham is set to challenge their familiar foe Willows at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
