Basketball Recap: Enterprise Falls Despite Big Games from Lila Mcdaniels and Carly Graham

Enterprise was the 47-39 winner over West Valley when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Enterprise Hornets took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Valley Eagles on Monday. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Carly Graham and Lila Mcdaniels certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Graham posted 15 points and five steals, while Mcdaniels had eight points along with eight boards and three steals. Graham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Catherine Ahart, who earned ten points.

Enterprise dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Valley, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.

Enterprise will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Shasta at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for West Valley, they will square off against Foothill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something West Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
