Bishop McCort won the last time they faced Bellwood-Antis and things went their way on Monday too. The Bishop McCort Crushers blew past the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils 58-35. The Crushers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Bellwood-Antis had strong showings from Lilly Gerwert, who posted eight points along with nine boards and five blocks, and Jenna Norton, who en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. Gerwert has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop McCort and bumps their season record up to 21-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Bellwood-Antis, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Bishop McCort will host Penns Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Penns Manor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bishop McCort surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bellwood-Antis, they are taking a road trip to face off against Southern Huntingdon County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
