At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elius Kelly, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Jackson Annigian was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

On the hitting side, Branden Kim was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Mendez, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.
Damien's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Chino Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
