The Kimberton Waldorf Bulls put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Villa Victoria Academy 64-14 at home. The result was nothing new for Kimberton Waldorf, who have now won seven contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
Kimberton Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camron Nixon, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The game was Nixon's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ciara O'Hara was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Several Villa Victoria Academy players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rachel Corban, who scored five points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Vitanov, who scored three points along with three blocks.
Kimberton Waldorf pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Villa Victoria Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Kimberton Waldorf won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Delaware Valley Friends at 3:30 p.m. on January 9th. Delaware Valley Friends will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 597th, while Kimberton Waldorf is ranked 170th). As for Villa Victoria Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Community Academy of Philadelphia is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
