Great Commission will head out on the road to challenge the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Great Commission has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while the Conquerors will arrive with four straight wins.
Last Tuesday, Great Commission suffered a tough 42-22 loss at the hands of the Bobcats.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Centre County Christian Academy 49-14 on the road. With Calvary Christian Academy ahead 29-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Great Commission's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Things could have been worse for Great Commission, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-25 loss to the Conquerors in their previous meeting back in January. Can Great Commission avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
