St. Bernard has gone 9-1 against Hoopa Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the St. Bernard's Crusaders will get right back to it and host the Hoopa Valley Warriors at 7:30 p.m. St. Bernard's will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, St. Bernard's was able to grind out a solid victory over Del Norte, taking the game 61-50. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Warriors are ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Laila Florvilus continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Florvilus is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. CJ Figas was another key player, going 5 of 11 on her way to 15 points.
St. Bernard's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 20 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-46, which was the final score in Hoopa Valley's tilt against Ferndale on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Wildcats since January 27, 2023.
Hoopa Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for St. Bernard's, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
St. Bernard's strolled past Hoopa Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 62-44. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Hoopa Valley's Tashee Tracy, who posted 21 points along with six boards and three steals. Now that she won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for St. Bernard's to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
