Softball Recap: Tuttle Takes Down Ranked Tahlequah

Tuttle faced Tahlequah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Tuttle came out on top against Tahlequah by a score of 6-3. The win continues a trend for Tuttle in their matchups with Tahlequah: they've now won three in a row.

Ava Kanatzar spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kynlee Swain, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Laird, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Tuttle hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive games.
