St. Andrew's Episcopal was led to victory by Olivia Strause and Lamaria Estridge. Strause scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals, while Estridge scored 17 points. Sophia Brooks was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Georgetown Day still got an impressive performance from Madisyn Moore, who scored 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cai Roberson, who scored 12 points.
St. Andrew's Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Georgetown Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
St. Andrew's Episcopal will head out on the road to face off against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown Day, they will be playing at home against Coolidge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
