 Meanwhile,  it was a Battle of the Birds when Cranston West duked it out with Barrington on Thursday. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Eagles  4-3. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Cranston West's  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Pilgrim, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
