Vasquez was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last eight games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Kayden Carmona-Shaw was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Lester Miranda, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Mission San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for James Logan, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
 While Mission San Jose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
