River Islands waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the McNair Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 last Tuesday.

River Islands' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was George Dayeh, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

River Islands' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for McNair, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, River Islands will square off against Chavez at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McNair, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
