The Heritage Christian Warriors lost against the Poly Parrots back in December of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Heritage Christian took a hard 62-48 fall against Poly.
Hannah Lising was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight steals for Poly. Lising continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Jhada Cordon was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Poly, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will challenge Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Friday. Poly's road trip will continue as they head out to face Verdugo Hills at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th.
