The St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins will head out on the road to square off against the Swett Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with St. Patrick-St. Vincent sitting on ten straight victories and Swett on four.
On Friday, St. Patrick-St. Vincent made easy work of Richmond and carried off a 16-3 win. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Vincent Cary was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jermaine Brownrigg also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
St. Patrick-St. Vincent hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Swett got the win against Bethel on Friday by a conclusive 12-1. The Warriors are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Adan Miranda was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Swett got a massive performance out of Ayden Holleran, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was James Gibson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
St. Patrick-St. Vincent pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Swett, their record is now 9-4-2.
Both St. Patrick-St. Vincent and Swett just can't seem to miss. The Bruins have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Swett struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
St. Patrick-St. Vincent was able to grind out a solid victory over Swett in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 9-5. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
