The Palm Springs Indians can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Jurupa Valley with a 22-17 victory. The win was just what Palm Springs needed coming off of a 50-27 defeat in their prior matchup.
Palm Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Naomi Bote, who scored seven points along with five steals and three blocks. Bote hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aja Walker, who scored four points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Palm Springs' victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Jurupa Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Palm Springs and Indian Springs will face off at 10:45 a.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Indian Springs' defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Palm Springs' offense will have their work cut out for Palm Springs. As for Jurupa Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Colton at 5:00 p.m. Colton is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
