The Delphi Community Oracles entered their tilt with the Pioneer Panthers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Delphi Community came out on top against Pioneer by a score of 55-44 on Tuesday. This was payback for Delphi Community, who suffered a 54-30 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jenna Roth continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Delphi Community's points. Lexi Miller was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Delphi Community pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Pioneer, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-9.
Delphi Community's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Winamac at 2:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Hopefully Winamac focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday. Pioneer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frontier at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
