Oglethorpe County dropped down to 9-4 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-2 to the Commerce Tigers. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Commerce, they moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

For Commerce's part, Hunter Dailey and Cain Jordan did most of the damage at the plate: Dailey got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Jordan went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits Jordan has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamdin Mize, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

While Oglethorpe County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
