The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors will face off against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Christian Academy has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Desert Christian Academy took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Hamilton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Conquerors skirted past the Bobcats 13-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquerors.

Desert Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Adamson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Adamson is becoming a predictor of the Conquerors' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-11 when he doesn't). Jesse Snellenberger was another, going 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Desert Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, San Jacinto Valley Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Hemet, falling 15-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since March 19th.
Carter Kelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Canon Fletcher, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
San Jacinto Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Desert Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Desert Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like San Jacinto Valley Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Desert Christian Academy suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to San Jacinto Valley Academy in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Conquerors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
