Softball Recap: Redan Wins Going Away Against Lithonia

After losing to Lithonia the last time they met, Redan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Raiders put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 28-12 win on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Redan got a massive performance out of SIMONE OWENS, who went 2-for-4 with nine stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those nine stolen bases gave OWENS a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JALYN BEY, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Redan's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redan will square off against Cedar Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lithonia, they will take on Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
