Basketball Recap: Burbank Extends Winning Streak to Six

Burbank had won five straight games and Aniyah Bufford did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Burbank Titans took down the Foresthill Wildfires 51-37 thanks in part to Bufford, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 23 games she's played dating back to last season.

Amy Saxelby and Olivia Grant certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Saxelby dropped a double-double on 13 points and 22 rebounds, while Grant posted seven points. The dominant performance gave Grant a new career-high in points.

Burbank pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Foresthill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Burbank wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 39-26 win against Armijo on the 8th. As for Foresthill, they will challenge Victory Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foresthill is facing Victory Christian at the right time seeing as Victory Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
