When it comes to explaining why MMI Preparatory School lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bria Kringe. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with five steals. That was a full 75% of MMI Preparatory School's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, MMI Preparatory School struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Wyoming Area posted eight assists.
Wyoming Area's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Gaylord led the charge by scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals. MMI Preparatory School will square off against Greater Nanticoke Area at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Greater Nanticoke Area knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully MMI Preparatory School likes a good challenge.
