Norristown lost against Upper Merion Area back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 47-33 bruising from the Vikings. On the bright side, the 33- point performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lex Hernandez, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Golston-Witter, who put up seven points.

Leading Upper Merion Area to victory were Piper Edge and Kennedy Coles. Edge dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Coles scored 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Those 12 points gave Edge a new career-high. Emily Nguyen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Norristown's record now sits at 0-4. As for Upper Merion Area, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Norristown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 35-28 loss against Pottsgrove on the 11th. As for Upper Merion Area, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-27 win against Pope John Paul II on the 11th.
