The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Canistota Hawks at 1:00 p.m. on December 29th. Platte/Geddes will be strutting in after a victory while Canistota will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Platte/Geddes earned a 39-30 win over Gregory. That 39-30 margin sets a new team best for Platte/Geddes this season.
Meanwhile, Canistota came up short against Gayville-Volin on Thursday and fell 45-38.
Platte/Geddes' win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Canistota, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Platte/Geddes took their win against Canistota in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 58-33. Does Platte/Geddes have another victory up their sleeve, or will Canistota turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
