Heritage not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30, 2024 (when they won 15-0). Everything went their way against the Smoky Hill Buffaloes as they made off with a 19-11 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Olivia Paddock made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (two). She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Caitlin Chamaty was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024.
