Heritage not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30, 2024 (when they won 15-0). Everything went their way against the Smoky Hill Buffaloes as they made off with a 19-11 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Olivia Paddock made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (two). She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Caitlin Chamaty was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyberty Bernal, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI.
