With a playoff win on the line, Model rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines. The result was nothing new for Model, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Model has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matches. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Model will square off against Putnam County on Friday. Model are on a four-game streak of home wins, Putnam County a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Woodville-Tompkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
